Community

Welcome to Community. We are a community of believers who have been commissioned to serve near and far. We seek to bring hope and light into a muddled world. We serve together, and we nudge each other toward faithful service. We seek to let our light shine.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10: 24

Some of our activities include four celebrations: Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas Party, Chinese New Year Gala, Easter celebration and party. We also have enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities: apple picking, maple syrup tour, strawberry picking, white water rafting and camping. Throughout the year we have indoor activities; including table tennis, badminton, and assorted games.

Study Groups

Bible & Book Studies

Weekly, Sundays at 6:00 pm

The Bible Studies (in English) are focused on a specific book in the Bible. We seek to understand the truth, but also to apply that truth in our lives.

Every year we read through a book (typically a classic Christian Book) and each week we come together to discuss what we have read.

ALPHA

There are many questions in life, and while Alpha does not claim to have all the answers it does provide an opportunity to ask the questions. The format is simple: dinner, a video, and a discussion. This is a great course for those who seek to understand Christianity. Therefore it is great for those who are not yet Christians, but also for those who wish to create a solid foundation for their faith.  Start Date:  March 2022.

Outreach

Community Concerns

This group looks to partner with our community to meet some of the basic needs.

We have partnered with outside organizations such as Agincourt Community Services, Urban Promise, Knox United Outreach Program and the Out of the Cold project. We are glad to share their heart for the community. We have also initiated projects on our own: Fun Days, community cleanup and more. We love our community.

Missions (Near and Far)

GracePoint has a long history of supporting overseas missions, and more recently we are focused on mission support services here in Canada. We are currently transitioning to becoming a project based support organization, both global and local.

The common thread between our past, our present and our future is the reaching of the world for Christ. We are currently working with individuals serving with AIM, SIM, and Wycliffe Bible Translators.
