Current Missionaries

 

Tom and Shelley Burry

Tom and Shelley have served as members with AIM Canada from 2002. They served as members of a TIMO team on Mayotte in the Comoros Islands working amongst the Kibushi people, and later they served as Church planters on Mayotte.
They then moved to Tanzania in August 2013 and served in Dar Es Salaam in multiple roles: Team Leaders, Guest House Manager, Logistics Officer, and Regional Teams Officer up until March 2020.
Currently, Tom and Shelley are living in Ontario and serving as Provincial Mobilizers

Robert Cousins

Robert, along with his wife Sheila have served since 1981. Robert has taught east Kapsabet Bible College, Kenya, and Nassa Theological College, Tanzania. They returned home to Canada where he was the Personnel Director of AIM Canada, and later was seconded to Tyndale Intercultural Ministry Centre (TIM). Currently he is serving with AIM and with Lausanne Canada – Director Global Mission Initiatives.

Alan and Alison Dixon
Alan and Alison have served with SIM in West Africa for most of the last 30 years. We continue involvement in Burkina Faso, Alison with a growing ESL ministry and Alan through leadership training and oversight of SIM BF’s well drilling ministry. Here in Canada Alison carries on her ESL ministry to newcomers and Alan helps provide leadership to a team of 50 SIM missionaries, building God’s kingdom through a diversity of ministries across the country.

John and Susan Iseminger

In 1993 John and Susan began service in Mozambique, Africa with the Meetto Bible Translation project in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. From 2006 to 2015 John served as the Language Programs Coordinator and then as SIL Branch Director in Nampula, Mozambique. Since 2015 John has served as a translation consultant in Mozambique, Angola and Guinea Bissau. Susan has served eight years as HR coordinator for SIL Mozambique. Currently she works with John as his admin assistant.

Anne Noble
Charles and Anne served with SIM in Pakistan from 1978-1996. Anne is currently the SIM Retiree Member Care Administrator. She oversees the care of 160 retired SIM missionaries living across Canada. Many of these faithful servants of God served their total professional life in Africa, Asia South America. Anne’s role is one of advocacy, pastoral care, hands on involvement communication. The majority of the retirees are now in their late 80’s 90’s. Anne describes her ministry as that of “Caring for the Warriors.”
